Pasaka and Sieku, two tragic little orphans who lost their fight for life - 4/30/2009
Yet another rescue alert on Good Friday l0th April 2009. The Manager of Satao Camp in Tsavo East National Park heard a great deal of elephant screaming at a nearby waterhole during the night of the 9th, and at first light ventured out to investigate.

Pair plead guilty in Kenya after huge ivory haul

NAIROBI, April 27 (Reuters) - A Kenyan and a Tanzanian pleaded guilty on Monday to illegal possession of ivory after being caught with hundreds of kilos of elephant tusks in one of east Africa's biggest seizures for years.

The rescue of Nchan - 4/20/2009
On morning of the 17th April the Milgis Trust scouts in Northern Kenya received a radio report from Lesanchu that an elder has just reported a baby elephant trapped in a well.

The rescue of Isiolo - 4/7/2009
The morning of Saturday 4th April brought another Rescue alert, this time from the Kenya Wildlife Service Senior Warden based at Isiolo, a man named Mailu who was involved in the rescue of Orphan Rapsu when serving in Meru National Park under Mark Jenkins.

The rescue of Tassia - 3/28/2009
This 9 month old bull calf was found all alone by three Samburu herdsmen during the morning of 26th March, 2009 as they were herding their cattle in the arid scrub Acacia country of their tribal land in an area known as Olchurai.
